Charity Donations: Round 2

So, what am I donating?

I was able to fit scarves, cowls and afghans into my favorite bin. Everything has been tagged with project name and fiber content on the back of my old business cards. Of course, the phone is wrong, but hey, I might attract more followers.

CSNanaCat gave me some yarn she did not want anymore. After combining some of it with some of my odds and ends I came up with a big ball o’ yarn! Initially, I was just going to create scrap scarfs, but as I began with this red, which was pretty much a full skein without a label, I began to like it by itself and felt it the fabric was big enough to be an item unto itself.

As for the construction: 30 stitches worked in garter for the entirety of the yarn, and seamed with a crochet slip stitch.

The cowl is very soft, warm and cozy!

+ Suggested by Hooker Leo due to no yarn label
